Distance Learning Plan

Planning an online distance learning program wants to become a central focus of a college’s important planning process because student expectations regarding ODL programs will continue to develop. Therefore, knowing what makes online distance learning successful and having believed ODL when growing a strategic plan is essential in order to avoid unneeded costs, wasted time, confusion, frustration, and emphasize for those who are involved with ODL.

Most plans for online distance learning are organized into existing strategic planning documents at colleges and are not separate documents. Colleges are eventually commencing to realize that designing for a comprehensive ODL program is necessary if they want to offer the same type of educational chances to the ODL student that they offer to the traditional on-campus student.
